Thus I saved the life
It was Sunday and I was playing on Mahatma Phule ground with my friends. Being a holiday, we were enjoying the game of cricket. There was no hurry to return home early as my parents had been out. So even after completing the game I was just roaming around with my friends.
We saw a flock of pigeons at the corners of the ground and their cooing. So just for the fun we decided to go to that corner. As soon as we reached there, some of the pigeons flew away. When we went very close to the corner the remaining pigeons flew away. I saw a pigeon which could not fly. So I went up to him, picked him up and saw that both his legs were entangled with the thread of kite. So it could not fly.
I called my friend there and showed him. But we couldn’t do anything as the thread was very sharp. I told my friend to bring a blade or knife from somewhere. But luckily he had a knife which his mother had given him to cut an apple. I took it and slowly cut the tangle of threads. The moment it was removed the pigeon started moving his legs. We set him free and it flew away with its friends; and thus I saved the pigeon from the thread of kite.
