Dear Daddy,

Missing you all here. How are you and Mamma Hoping you all in best of our health. What is about Piyu? Keep her busy with studies. Just ask her to be focused, and most importantly don’t neglect the health. Next week our exams are beginning. I am studying regularly and hoping to do well in the exam. But the main reason for the letter is that our school has planned a two days trip to ‘Goa, in the first week of the vacation and most of my friends rejoining the trip. I too want to join. First let me tell you about the entire programme that is already announced in the school. Our school tour committee head has already made acontact with tourism department of Goa for the arrange ments.
Papa, it is great opportunity to visit the Traveler’s Paradise. Natural and beautiful beaches, are very attractive. Boating and other water sports are going to be very exciting, aren’t they?I have heard alot about the old church at Madgaon and
also about Mangesh itemple. Ireally don’t want to miss the opportunity to visit them.
We are planning to spend total two-day sand two nights in Goa. The expected expenditure is about 2500/rupees. But the most important thing for me is your permission. Convey me your decision with due opinion. If you want me to join the tour, please send me Rs2500/ by the end of the week. Alot to be talked about but can’t afford to write now, already extended. Tell Momma about the tour. Missing her alot and eager to return home soon. With all love to everyone.

Dear Rahul,

I was really nervous to hear your SSC result. But now I am really shocked to hear from aunt that you are thinking not to appear for the exam again.
I know, it is not your fault to get passing marks in a subject like Mathematics. But your physical condition on the day when Maths Paper was there, was really the worst. Being Dengue patient you couldn’t do that much for the exam. But I really salute you as you passed remaining subjects with flying colours. And I think, if you were well, you could have got more than 70 marks out of 80. Life is full of ups and downs. So we want to face it very bravely. Running away from the problem is not the solution for it. I know you can do very well if you reappear for the same. Be positive and confident and achieve your goal. Our wishes are always with you.

Yours loving friend,
Durgesh Shirsath
